LA COCOTERAIE TARTANE, a waterfront villa rocked by the trade winds in the peaceful fishing village of Tartane, with its calm waters protected by the coral reef, located in the heart of La Caravelle. 2 fully independent flats with all mod cons: air-conditioned bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, swimming pool, spa. You can kayak to the lagoon and walk or paddle to the beach!
You'll have exclusive use of the Villa's ground floor: the large covered terrace, its deck, the spa under the carbet where you can also hang your hammock, the secure infinity pool and its solar shower are the main living areas, where you can relax and share meals. Inside, the lounge sofa, TV and high table open onto the fully-equipped kitchen, including dishwasher (detergent provided). 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, bathroom/shower and WC complete the accommodation. At your disposal: Wifi, washing machine (in the adjoining storeroom), 42' connected TV, complete cot and baby chair on request, parking at the rear of the villa. Kayaks and paddleboards are freely available but shared with T4 guests. We provide all linen, bedding and towels, except your beach towels!

As soon as your booking is confirmed, we'll send you a welcome guide by email with information about the house, its facilities and the leisure activities available. On site, Katy will welcome you from 4pm. A secure key box also allows you to enter and leave independently.
The Vito station grocery shop is 250m away, the bakery 800m away on the seafront, and several supermarkets and a shopping arcade are less than 10km away. There are a number of restaurants in Tartane, including Suzy just behind the house, which serves excellent Creole cuisine. Right next door, the fishermen who make their nets during the day will be your closest neighbours.
SARGASSES: All the Caribbean islands and the American coast are exposed to the beaching of these shoals of algae that proliferate on the surface off the coast of Brazil. Once stranded, they decompose, giving off a nauseating odour (H2S).
In Tartane, we are a little less affected because the bay faces north-east and the town of Trinité organises collection within a few days.
In the event of massive sargassum strandings, we'll keep you informed thanks to the 2 webcams that constantly monitor the coastline. METEO France Martinique publishes a weekly bulletin on the risk of groundings.
