INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ART FESTIVAL IN MARTINIQUE Annabel Gueredrat and Henri Tauliaut co-direct the International Performance Art Festival of Martinique (FIAP), a platform dedicated to the dissemination, research, and networking of performative practices on a Caribbean and international scale. Through the FIAP and Artincidence, they develop projects that blend creation, transmission, and cooperation, actively contributing to the visibility of Caribbean art scenes within contemporary global dynamics. Objectives: o To highlight performance art, a field still little known in Martinique: What is performance art? What are its histories and struggles in different countries? o Encourage encounters between various artists from Martinique and the rest of the world to foster new collaborations. o Raise awareness among students at the Caribbean Arts Campus (CCA) about the creative process and the working life of a professional artist. o Organize two public professional workshops: 1st day dedicated to FIAP MQ artists / 2nd day focusing on theoretical themes from the 5th edition. o Extend the Festival’s highlight period through presentations organized by the FIAP MQ curators and guest curators.e.s ABOUT THE FIAP MQ CURATORS ANNABEL GUEREDRAT She is a choreographer, dancer, performer, and certified practitioner of Body-Mind Centering®, and has directed the Artincidence Company since 2003.
