Located in Le Lorrain, the Maison du Cacao is the culmination of ten years' effort to structure a cocoa industry of excellence in Martinique. Thanks to the strength of the collective, VALCACO promotes the specificity of the island's micro-terroirs and know-how. The programme includes a museum, educational workshops, tastings, exhibitions and a shop.
The Maison du Cacao is a place designed to bring together producers, processors and lovers of cocoa in all its forms. The aim is to create added value by transforming cocoa beans into finished products, thereby strengthening and developing the local economy and agritourism.
