Rejuvenating experience
All paradises are gardens, and it's no coincidence that a visit to the Jardin de Balata is a magical experience that leaves visitors with astonishing feelings. The Jardin de Balata, a real gem in Martinique, awaits you for an unforgettable experience.
It was in 1982 that Jean-Philippe Thoze, horticulturist, landscape gardener and artist at heart, returned to his childhood home in his grandparents' Creole house. It was there that his passion for botany was born, a passion that would take him to the four corners of the world.
The garden, organised around the family home with its typical Creole architecture, is the fruit of a perfect alchemy between a return to his roots and an atypical artist.
