This book retraces the career of Christian Boutant, a committed figure in music in Martinique and French Guiana, who has devoted his life to defending the rights of songwriters and composers. Through his account, he shares memories, struggles and key moments in the history of music in Martinique and French Guiana, while highlighting the artists and cultures he has helped to promote. To enable the public to discover this book in a warm and friendly setting, several meetings and presentation evenings will be organized in various cultural venues on the island, as well as a private meeting with the author. The book is available for pre-order via the Bizouk? platform. Once you've made your reservation, you'll receive a ticket with a QR code, just like for a cultural event. This ticket will enable you to pick up your copy of the book at one of the planned launch events.
