Call for expressions of interest - Local artisans and animators; Context and issues
As part of the arrival village for the TRANSAT CAFÉ L'OR, to be held in Fort-de-France from November 4 to 16, 2025, the Comité Martiniquais du Tourisme (CMT) wants to boost the visibility of local know-how and the attractiveness of the region. This flagship event, which attracted nearly 35,000 visitors, 4,000 schoolchildren and 50 exhibitors at its last edition, is an exceptional showcase for Martinique's craftsmen and service providers.
The main aim is to encourage encounters between visitors, tourism professionals and local players, while promoting a sustainable development dynamic. Through this initiative, CMT intends to offer an immersive, authentic and inclusive experience, in line with public expectations and the territory's commitments to ecological transition.
Objectives
The aim of this call for expressions of interest is to select local artisans and service providers capable of offering events and products that embody Martinique's identity and the values of sustainable tourism. The aim is:
- To highlight the richness and diversity of local know-how, whether in the form of arts and crafts, original creations or agri-food productions.
- To raise visitor awareness of sustainable development issues through educational, sensory or cultural events.
- To create a space for exchange and sharing, where each exhibitor contributes to a collective experience that is rewarding, inclusive and respectful of the environment.
Modalities of CMT support
- Presence on one or more 1/2 days (schedule to be defined)
- Space provided with table and shelter
- Direct sales authorized (without commission)
Participation details
Participants are invited to liven up their stand with demonstrations, workshops, tastings or other interactive activities to showcase their expertise and involve the public.
The chosen venue, La Pointe Simon in Fort-de-France, offers a setting conducive to conviviality and exhibitor showcasing. Applicants must specify their availability over the period and undertake to respect the values promoted by CMT, particularly in terms of sustainability and inclusion.

Selection criteria and procedure
Selection will be based on objective criteria: quality, originality, promotion of local production, sustainability.
- Quality: We favor products and animations that reflect meticulous know-how and professional presentation, to guarantee a rewarding experience for visitors.
- Originality: Proposals must stand out for their creativity and uniqueness, to offer a memorable and differentiating experience on the CMT stand.
- Valuing local production: We give preference to artisans and service providers who highlight products made in Martinique, in order to support the local economy and promote the authenticity of the territory to visitors.
- Sustainability: Proposals must incorporate environmentally friendly practices (waste reduction, eco-responsible materials, short circuits), in order to contribute to an exemplary event in terms of sustainable tourism.
Exclusion criteria
AMI Infructueux : If no project meets the conditions of the AMI, the Bureau of the Comité Martiniquais du Tourisme reserves the right to declare it "infructueux".
