Case-Pilote

Its 17th-century church, in Jesuit and Baroque style,  is the oldest on the island.

 

At 11 km from Fort de France, Case-Pilote, a pretty village on the north Caribbean coast, has a number of attractions: its church, the oldest on the island, dates back to 1640,  its picturesque cemetery, the ruins of the Maniba sugar factory and the fountain in the town square, views of les Pitons du Carbet et hiking trails
