Founded in 1989 by Lucette Salibur, author, performer and director, the Théâtre du Flamboyant's primary motivation was to enable young unemployed people to work together on a theatre-related educational project.
Gradually, the company has evolved into a professional organisation that now includes actors from the performing arts. The company's aim is to create and present shows across the region and internationally that combine different artistic disciplines: singing, dance, music and puppetry.
