Rejuvenating experience
Every paradise is a garden, and it's no coincidence if during their visit to the Jardin de Balata many visitors are overcome with great emotions stirred by the magical setting.
In was in 1982 that horticulturalist, landscape artists and artist at heart Jean-Philippe Thoze, retraced the steps of his childhood in the Creole home of his grandparents. From there would spring a passion for botany that take him to the four corners of the world.
The garden, orchestrated around the family domicile with typical Creole architecture, is the fruit of a perfect alchemy between an unusual artist and a return to sources.
