Come and garden, tinker, harvest or simply (re)visit the Trenelle-Citron shared garden. The Ypiranga association creates living spaces where botanical, cultural and technical knowledge can be shared! Every second Wednesday of the month, from 1:30 to 3pm, let's share and invest! Admission is free and open to all, young and old alike. Don't forget to bring your gloves, pants and closed-toe shoes. The CCPYPM association - Centre de culture populaire Ypiranga de Pastinha Martinique - aims to promote urban agriculture that protects biodiversity, brings people and nature closer together and fosters a better social life.CCPYPM aims to promote social cohesion and integration through work, and currently manages two sites: the experimental shared urban garden at Trenelle Citron and the Ecolieu at Tivoli. Beyond this, CCPYPM runs the Jaden Lanmou in the Terres Sainville district, is involved in two self-sustaining gardens with an aquaponics system and a henhouse at the Ducos Prison, and provides free delivery of food aid - vegetables and fresh fruit - as well as a social watch service for beneficiaries. CCPYPM is also active throughout the island, coordinating a network of initiatives and spin-offs of shared gardens and medicinal plant libraries.
