Refreshing experience
Madiana Blue Plaisir Diving was born out of a desire to create a family-run centre. We make no compromises when it comes to safety or ensuring our divers have a great time. It was also a chance to return to my home island and combine diving with Caribbean culture.
Above all, however, we aim to live up to the trust placed in us by our divers, whilst never forgetting that this destination is the realisation of a dream for many people.
The centre is situated in the small traditional harbour of La Cherry in Le Diamant. It lies off the beaten track of mass tourism, yet remains easily accessible and has a car park.
The club is committed to an eco-friendly approach through several practical measures: collecting rainwater for rinsing equipment, using dry toilets, filtering water for drinking purposes to minimise the use of plastic bottles, sorting waste, and organising a day dedicated to collecting litter around the club.
We have a 16-seater rigid-hulled boat, though we deliberately limit the number of divers to 12 for greater comfort. Surface safety is guaranteed on every outing. And our fleet of equipment consists almost exclusively of very recent gear.
Our programmes range from introductory sessions with or without equipment (introductory dives, snorkelling) through to advanced training (from PE12 to N4/OPW) and exploration tailored to your level or preferences. We also offer packages such as double dives, refresher courses, and technical or specialised dives.
During introductory dives, photos will be taken to capture this first dive.
The excursions on offer range from Diamond Bay to Nahoon, passing by the Diamond Rock and its fault. On the programme: the colours of the coral world with its wildlife and the atmosphere of the fault…
After each dive, you’re invited to socialise over a homemade ‘planteur’ and refreshing drinks.
