Two films from Martinique at the 14th Chelsea film festival

Martinique Tourism Authority is delighted to announce the selection of two films that bring the cinematic voice of Martinique to the 14th edition of the Chelsea Film Festival taking place from October 14 to 18, 2026.

Film : Adan nanm ek ko

Directed by Ella Moun, the short-film will be screened on Friday, October 16 at 11:00 AM.

Trained in acting and directing, Ella MOUN explores the challenges of Caribbean society through her creations inspired by her Martinican origins. After directing two self-produced short films, she presented her third in th 2025, Adan nanm ek ko (In the soul and in the body), produced by GREC.

Directed by Jean-Michel Loutoby, the film Nkoa will be screened on Sunday, October 18 at 11:00 AM. 

Jean-Michel Loutoby is a Martinican screenwriter and director whose work is distinguished by a cinematic approach deeply rooted in social and human realities. Passionate about storytelling and visual expression, he uses cinema as a medium for reflection and emancipation, tackling themes such as identity, family legacy, social fractures and resilience.
