A 100% solidarity adventure!
All teams represent a charity of their choice, which will receive a donation, the amount of which is set according to the team's performance. All teams crossing the finish line of the Raid des Alizés - Martinique are rewarded and receive a donation for their charity.
Since its creation, the Raid des Alizés organization has called on local partners who work for this women's and solidarity raid:
The Pa Ladjey athletics association will be lending its support to the trail events with a team of volunteers at the service of female raiders. The same will apply to the mountain bike event supervised by volunteers from the Comité Régional Cycliste de Martinique.
As for the Comité Martiniquais de Canoé-Kayak participating in the supervision and advice of the Kayak events.
On all the sporting events and the organization of the bivouac, the RSMA (Régiment du Service militaire Adapté de Martinique) will come to lend a hand throughout the Raid, accompanied by the 33ème RIMA (Régiment d'Infanterie de Marine)
Thanks to these many local players, and others besides, Le Raid des Alizés for the past 8 years has embodied an unmissable sporting event.

At the heart of Biodiversity
A UNESCO-listed natural heritage
The whole of Martinique's land and sea territory, classified as a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2021, will be covered by the 225 competitors, who will discover the island's preserved natural wealth as they race. The event also gives the opportunity to ride through the volcanoes and forests of Montagne Pelée and the Pitons du Nord, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023!
So it's in a painted setting of mountains, beaches and forests, markers of a rich and breathtaking biodiversity that the candidates will prove themselves over 5 days.
