Would you like to do something for the planet?

What if, for a day, you were to follow Kévin, an adventurer at heart, who's always up for a hike between land and sea, to discover a wild and vibrant Martinique? On the program: sunrise at altitude, secret hot springs, immersion in the island's history, Creole lunch with your feet in the sand, encounters with exotic animals and a blazing sunset over the Caribbean Sea.
One rule only: open your eyes wide and let yourself be carried away by the adventure.

Dawn on Morne Larcher: the world for oneself

5:30 am. Kévin is already at the foot of Morne Larcher, facing the still-sleeping Baie du Diamant. His rucksack is light, his sneakers ready to swallow the 3.7 km trail that climbs to an altitude of 410 meters.
The climb is sporty, but every step is a promise: to see the sun rise over the Caribbean Sea.
At the summit, the view is breathtaking: La baie du Diamant stretches out before your eyes, the Rocher du Diamant stands proud, and on a clear day, the silhouette of Sainte-Lucie is silhouetted against the horizon.
Kévin stops. He takes a breath. He knows he's living in a suspended moment, one in which the island wakes up with him.

Dlo Ferré: a well-kept secret to recharge your batteries

After the effort, the comfort. Head for Petite Anse, aux Anses d'Arlet. Almost invisible to hurried eyes, a small hot-water pool, Dlo Ferré, awaits you. The 35°C ferruginous water relaxes muscles and soothes the mind. Kévin settles in, listens to the lapping of the nearby waves, and tells himself he's holding one of the island's best-kept secrets.

La Savane des Esclaves: history from a human perspective

Cap now on Les Trois-Îlets. After nature, Kévin dives into Martinique's living history at Savane des Esclaves, a site created by Gilbert Larose.
Between traditional huts, a Creole garden and explanatory panels, it traces 400 years of history:
●    Amerindian life before the arrival of Europeans,
●    The reality of slavery, explained straightforwardly,
●    Creole rural life after abolition.

The visit is moving, educational and deeply human. Kévin leaves with a head full of images and a better understanding of the Martinique soul.

Gourmet break at Le Carbet: Martinique on the plate

After the emotion, enjoy the delicious flavors in Martinique. In Le Carbet, Kévin settles into a beach restaurant and savors a lunch with local colors: grilled fish, country vegetables, sweet potato gratin, smoked meat...All with the Caribbean Sea as a backdrop and that convivial atmosphere typical of Martinique's tables.

End of the day in Carbet: sunset and the Heart of Carbet

The day ends on the plage du Carbet, where the black sand and calm sea invite you to take a last dip or enjoy a local chichi.
