Martinique has many family-friendly beaches:
- Les Trois-Îlets: Anse Dufour is an ideal beach for children, with its shallow turquoise water. Also consider Anse Mitan, crystal-clear, shallow water with lots of little fish.
- Sainte-Anne: Grande Anse des Salines is perfect for building sandcastles. You'll find a few tables for eating and trees for shelter from the sun. Bring mosquito repellent for late afternoons, as as soon as the sun goes down, they make their appearance.
- L'Anses d'Arlet: Anse Noire is renowned for its seabed rich in marine life, perfect for snorkeling. There's also a pontoon at Anse Noire where older children can dive or jump into the water for a thrill!
